ok it's been awhile sight I read the May bird books but May the girl, the hairless cat is  Somber Kitty,  Pumpkin the ghost with a pumpkin head and the evil  Bogey with his hell hounds working for the always watching Bo Cleevil 
If you like movies like coraline then this would be right up your alley
(may come up with song that would been in movey later)

I don't think I've heard of those books before. It sounds like it would fit in well with Coraline and the Nightmare Before Christmas, though. It's a neat idea. ^_^
